Arun Valley bed and breakfast at Houghton Farm offers you quality accommodation to relax and unwind. The village of Houghton is situated at the mid point of the South Downs Way in the beautiful Arun Valley.
A warm family welcome awaits you from Tim, Kate, Henry, Tilly and George in the farmhouse. The Lock family are tenant farmers and have been farming at Houghton Farm since the 1950’s. The farm is mixed with a home bred milking herd and arable crops.
We are situated approximately 200 yards off the South Downs Way and within easy walking distance of two excellent pubs - The George and Dragon and The Bridge.
We are within easy reach of Goodwood Racecourse, which holds many meetings including “Glorious Goodwood” and Goodwood Racetrack, famous for the Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival . Fontwell Racecourse is also only a short distance away.

It has a bathroom located across the corridor with a shower cubicle and a bath. Shaving point. Airing facilities can be supplied.
Dining Room & Breakfast
Breakfasts are served in the large dining room which is adjacent to a spacious farmhouse kitchen. There is a wide selection of breakfast on offer and we can cater for individual requirements.

Sandwiches :- Egg, Ham salad, Cheese salad, Soft cheese and Cucumber, Smoked salmon and cream cheese, Tuna and sweet corn, Cheese and chutney. Or any other combination.

Please contact us on the above details to check for availability.
Rooms are available as double, twin or single, the latter incurring a single occupancy charge.
Earliest check in time is 16.00 and latest check out is by 10.30 unless otherwise agreed. Typically, we expect arrival between 16.00 and 18.00 but can be flexible by prior arrangement. If you have any specific requirements, please contact us.
Payment must be made in full to secure the booking. Payments can be made by bank transfer (preferred). Cash, cheque and card are also accepted (card payments can only be taken in person, not over the phone).
No dogs or pets allowed.
Cancellation more than three weeks before will be refunded less a 10% handling charge. Cancellations less than three weeks before will not be refunded.
Please note we operate a non-smoking policy in all our rooms.
Our Single occupancy charge is £90.
